Strategy is relational.
Process matters.
Narrative and structure must align.

Hi, I’m Ashley Stapleton.

I’m an Indigenous communications strategist and consultant with nearly fifteen years of experience providing strategy, facilitation, and communications for philanthropic organizations, Tribal nations, and nonprofits navigating complexity and change.

My work sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and organizational development. I help teams clarify what they’re working toward, align how they communicate and operate, and build the internal capacity needed to lead with confidence.

I partner closely with clients to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and help build strategies that are realistic, values aligned, and built to last.

My work is grounded in a few core beliefs:

  • Those closest to the work hold essential knowledge

  • Strategy works best when it is built with people, not imposed on them

  • Narrative and organizational strategy are inseparable

  • Capacity-building is as important as deliverables

  • Clarity creates momentum, trust, and sustainability

I work closely with organizations to help them make sense of complex decisions and move forward with confidence.
